Karikari Lodge has three bedrooms and can sleep up to six people and is wheelchair accessible. The self-contained Pohutukawa Cabin can sleep two people and has its own kitchen, dining area and bathroom. Both the Lodge and the Pohutukawa Cabin are on a fully fenced section.
All bedding and linen is supplied and there is a washing machine. There is a full kitchen and living/dining room in the main lodge with television and DVD player, covered barbeque area (with BBQ) and upper deck and a fish-filleting table.
Lodge facilities include a fully wheelchair accessible toilet and shower. The lodge is fully furnished and self-contained. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, the family bedroom has a queen-size bed and can accommodate a very comfortable fold down bed when needed. The single bedroom has two bunk beds.
The Pohutukawa Cabin is a fully-furnished self-contained, open plan cabin with a walk around bathroom and toilet, queen-size bed, kitchenette, micro stove, microwave, TV, DVD, dining room table, awesome decking, undercover BBQ with gas supplied.
While staying at Karikari Lodge the Pohutukawa Cabin and George the caravan, you will have free use of kayaks, boogie boards, surf boards and stand-up paddle boards (SUPs). However, you will need to bring your own beach towels.
We also have available George the caravan a neat self contained caravan suitable for one person.
The free SUPs and kayaks are not available on the morning of guests' check out. If guests staying at Karikari Lodge need us to take SUPs and kayaks to the beach, this is done between 10.00am and 2.00pm.
